Baru saja dapat email dari David Bullock, sebenarnya mengenai cara melakukan testing, tapi ada baiknya juga buat mahasiswa yang mau ujian. Ini kutipannya
I was told once by my chemistry professor, “There are no new
questions – only better ways to get the answers.”Until that point, when I would take an exam, it was an absolute
mess. I would come to class, papers everywhere, and the “problem
write-up” would be all over the place. Poor grade for sure.My Professor saw me after class one day and said, “Let me show you
how to write an exam. You need some tools. Get a mechanical pencil
and an eraser.”“When you write out your problem set, write out what you know and
any relevant formulas that you might need to get the answer.“Then, write out what you don’t know and need to find out, so
you have your goal clearly in front of you at the top of the page.“Then, in a single column going down the page, start working the
problem. Underline any important information that you
discover when you are working the problem. When you get to the
bottom of the page, go back to the top and keep working the problem
just that way and the answer will just pop out.“Your problem is not that you don’t know how to work the problem.
Your problem is in your organization.”
Menarik bukan?
